CD28 (Cluster of Differentiation 28) is one of the molecules expressed on T cells that provide co-stimulatory signals, which are required for T cell activation. CD28 is the receptor for B7.1 (CD80) and B7.2 (CD86). When activated by Toll-like receptor ligands, the B7.1 expression is up-regulated in antigen presenting cells (APCs). The B7.2 expression on antigen presenting cells is constitutive. CD28 is the only B7 receptor constitutively expressed on naive T cells.

CD40 antibodies |
antibody cd40 from BioXCell
The cluster of differentiation (cluster of designation) (often abbreviated as CD) is a protocol used for the identification and investigation of cell surface molecules present on white blood cells, providing targets for immunophenotyping of cells. In immunology, the CD40 T-Cell Co-Receptor (CD stands for cluster of differentiation) is a protein complex and is composed of four distinct chains. Bio X Cell offers a variety of monoclonal antibodies, as well as recombinant proteins and isotype controls.
